First Snow of the Season Hits Shobak Highlands in Southern Jordan

Shobak, in the highlands of southern Jordan, experienced the first snowfall of the season today. Snowfall was especially visible across the mountainous areas, covering the landscape in white and creating picturesque winter scenes. Locals took to the outdoors to enjoy the winter spectacle, marking the start of the cold season in the southern highlands.

Meteorologists say this early snow comes with a cold weather system moving across the region, bringing rain and hail to higher elevations. Authorities have reminded residents to drive carefully on slippery roads.
