October 8, 2025: The Day The Genocide Finally Ended in Gaza

Preview 3

For the first time in years, Gaza hears no bombs, only silence, heavy with memory and hope. Streets once scarred by fire begin to awaken. Mothers hold their children close. Fathers set about rebuilding. Youth who have known only conflict dare to dream again.

This peace was born from unrelenting struggle and tireless diplomacy. After months of mediation in Egypt and mounting regional pressure, US President Donald Trump announced on October 8, 2025, that “Israel” and Hamas had agreed to the first phase of his 20-point peace plan. The agreement includes the release of all remaining hostages and the withdrawal of Israeli troops to mutually agreed lines.

The announcement sparked celebrations far beyond Gaza. In Jordan, at 2:00 AM local time, streets in Amman and other cities filled with jubilant crowds waving Palestinian flags, chanting slogans of solidarity, and rejoicing in a historic moment of hope and relief.

Yet even as the guns fall silent, we carry the names of our martyrs in our hearts. Their sacrifice is the price of this moment, one we will never forget.

Gaza today, Palestine tomorrow.
From the river to the sea, we claim our right to live free, whole, and dignified.

History will remember this day, not just for the war that ended, but for the hope that began.
