Russia Introduces Electronic Visas for Jordanians

Russian authorities have announced the introduction of electronic visas for Jordanian citizens, effective December 5, 2024. The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed the development, stating that Jordanians can now apply for unified e-visas without needing an invitation letter, hotel bookings, or additional travel purpose documents.

The e-visa will cover various travel purposes, including tourism, business, private visits, and participation in cultural, scientific, and sports events. Valid for 60 days from issuance, the visa allows stays of up to 16 days, including arrival and departure.

The Ministry expressed gratitude to Russia for this initiative, emphasizing its importance in strengthening bilateral ties and simplifying travel for Jordanians.
