Amman came alive this weekend as Bdna Eyaki Qaweyeh brought together inspiring women, community leaders, and changemakers for a day dedicated to empowerment, dialogue, and connection. Hosted at the incredible Rainbow Theater, the event created a vibrant space where voices were heard, stories were shared, and women’s achievements celebrated.

Inspiring Panels Led by Women

At the heart of the event were discussion panels featuring leading women from various fields. Speakers included:

  • Dr. Rula Jaradat – the first female Qanun player in Jordan, the country’s first female maestro, and founder of the first all-female Jordanian musical ensemble, Naya.

  • Dana Fadda – captain of the Jordanian national basketball team, social activist in women’s empowerment, owner of Sand Hair Salon, and board member of Bdna Eyaki Qaweyeh.

  • Dr. Raya Khalifat – recipient of the Silver Jubilee award for her support in founding small businesses and promoting women’s empowerment.

  • Dr. Agadeer Jweihan – General Director of the Princess Taghrid Institute for Training and Development and Director of the Office of Her Royal Highness Princess Taghrid.

  • Manal Al Samar – experienced HR professional with a focus on fostering female talent in the corporate sector.

  • Nancy Al Hindi – Vice President of the Asian Taekwondo Federation, Regional Director at the Union of Arab Banks, and board member of both the Jordanian and Arab Taekwondo Federations.

These speakers shared their experiences, insights, and reflections on leadership, resilience, and community impact. Their stories inspired attendees and sparked meaningful conversations about women’s roles in shaping society.

Adding a magical touch to the day was the surprise performance by Zain Awad x Dr. Rula Jaradat, whose artistry captivated the audience!
