Royal Jordanian to Launch Direct Moscow–Aqaba Flights in December ✈️🇯🇴

Aqaba is set to welcome more Russian travelers as Royal Jordanian launches a new direct route between Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport and Jordan’s Red Sea city on December 20, 2026.

Operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays, the route is part of a partnership between Royal Jordanian, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, and the Jordan Tourism Board to strengthen tourism links between Russia and southern Jordan.

The new connection will make it easier for travelers to explore Jordan’s Golden Triangle: Aqaba, Petra, and Wadi Rum, from Red Sea beaches and marine experiences to ancient archaeological wonders and dramatic desert landscapes.

The initiative aims to boost Aqaba’s tourism sector, attract more international visitors, and encourage travelers to discover more of Jordan beyond the capital. 🌊🏜️
